Yaechika is directly connected to this gate.

If You Arrived on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line

Tokyo Metro’s Tokyo Station is served by the Marunouchi Line.

The Marunouchi Line station is on the Marunouchi side of the Tokyo Station area, while Yaechika is on the Yaesu side.

According to the official Yaechika access information, the walk from Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line Tokyo Station takes about 10 minutes.

Follow signs across the station area toward Yaesu.

If you are outside the JR ticket gates, use a public passage rather than entering the JR paid area.

Yaechika or First Avenue Tokyo Station?

This is an easy place to get confused.

Yaechika (Yaesu Underground Mall) and First Avenue Tokyo Station are different shopping areas.

First Avenue Tokyo Station includes popular areas such as:

  • Tokyo Character Street
  • Tokyo Ramen Street
  • Tokyo Okashi Land

So if you see Tokyo Character Street or Tokyo Ramen Street, you are in First Avenue Tokyo Station, not Yaechika.

The two shopping areas are both around the Yaesu side of Tokyo Station, so they can feel like one large underground complex when you are walking through the area.

If your destination is Yaechika, continue following signs for Yaechika / Yaesu Underground Mall.
