“Is PARCO_ya Ueno near the North Exit or South Exit?”

Common Confusion Point: There Are Several “Okachimachi” Stations
When you look at a map of the area, you may see several similar station names:
- JR Okachimachi Station

Naka-okachimachi
→ Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line
Ueno-hirokoji

Ueno-okachimachi

These stations are close to each other, and some are connected by underground passages.
Using Naka-okachimachi Station?
If you are on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, these exits are useful:

Exit 2

So if you are already using the Hibiya Line, you do not need to enter JR Okachimachi Station first.

Several exits around Ueno-hirokoji provide access toward Ameyoko and the Okachimachi area.
